Dr. Jessica Lancaster

Dr. Jessica Lancaster is a board-certified family medicine physician who brings warmth, curiosity, and compassion to every patient interaction. Raised in Lake Tapps, Washington, she knew from an early age that she wanted to become a doctor—drawn to both the science of medicine and the privilege of caring for others. â€‹She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, then went on to attend Pacific Northwest University in Yakima for medical school. During her clinical years in rural Montana, she discovered a deep love for full-spectrum family medicine and the unique relationships formed in small-town practice. She completed her residency at Tacoma Family Medicine and has spent the last several years practicing in Maple Valley.

Dr. Lancaster is passionate about doing medicine differently—slowing down, building real relationships, and creating space for patient education, prevention, and holistic care. After experiencing the challenges of the traditional medical system, she’s excited to return to the valley and focus on the kind of intentional, personalized care she believes in.

She met her husband, Jarryd, in Ellensburg 10 years ago during her first year of medical school, and he's been by her side through the adventure of nine moves and a decade of training. Now settled and rooted in the community, they’re looking forward to starting a family and building a life here. â€‹Outside of medicine, Dr. Lancaster enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking through the Pacific Northwest, fly-fishing, DIY home improvements, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Dr. Lancaster believes in a holistic, relationship-centered approach to healthcare—one that honors each patient’s story, goals, and values. She shares, “It is an extraordinary privilege to be a physician, and I am committed to delivering the best possible care to my patients.
