  • What services are included with my membership fee?
    Your monthly membership includes excellent primary care through unrestricted office visits, annual wellness exams, well-child exams, sports physicals, school physicals, basic office procedures, treatment of acute illness or minor injuries and unlimited access to your doctor, all with minimal wait times in the office. Our patients will also have access to discounted labs, prescriptions, and radiology.
  • Does CompassDirect provide obstetric and gynecology services?
    Yes! Dr. John Sand, who is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, provides gynecological services to women of all ages under our usual age-based membership model and clinic-based pregnancy care under our Prenatal/Postnatal membership model. He does not provide delivery services, however our team will collaborate with the hospital/birthing center of your choice.
  • Is my membership fee at CompassDirect Healthcare Tax Deductible?
    We advise that you discuss this with your tax preparer or accountant. However anything we order such as labs, radiology, and medications can be applied to HSA, HRA, FSA, or out of network deductible.
  • Does CompassDirect Healthcare see patients of all ages?
    CompassDirect Healthcare currently provides care for patients of all ages.
  • How do I join if a provider's practice is full?
    In order to provide the highest possible level of personalized, quality care to patients who choose each provider's practice, we must limit membership. As a result, when a provider's practice membership is full, a waiting list is be established. As openings become available, you will be contacted by a member of our team regarding membership.
  • What if I decide to cancel?
    We expect to have an open, honest, respectful relationship with you. If you have voiced a complaint that we cannot satisfy together, we will gladly allow you to terminate your membership. If your membership is cancelled, terms of cancellation will be applied and are outlined in the Patient Agreement. The details can be discussed with your provider or our office manager at any time.
