Born and raised in Ellensburg, Tami is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She has a strong foundation in pediatrics and family medicine. Her nursing career has included roles at Cascade Pediatrics, ABC Pediatrics, Family Health Care of Ellensburg, and CompassDirect Healthcare, which she helped Dr. Byron Haney launch in 2019. Tami's career is guided by a commitment to preventive care and collaborative decision-making. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication make her a trusted partner in healthcare for patients of all ages.

Prior to becoming a nurse, Tami worked as a gymnastics coach, preschool teacher, and childcare provider. At the age of 19, she spent 5 months serving with Mercy Ships in West Africa and South Africa. From ages 20-21, she worked at an orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS in South Africa. It was there that she discovered her love for pediatrics and healthcare. She earned her nursing degree in 2006 and completed her MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2025.

Tami is grateful to have shared over 20 years of marriage with her husband Matt, whom she met in college, and together they've built a life filled with joy and purpose. They've raised three wonderful children - Raife, Remielle, and Adilyn. Their family was shaped by a profound loss when their daughter Angeliyah passed away shortly after birth due to severe birth defects, but this experience strengthened their faith and marriage. This journey has also deepened Tami's compassion for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Serving others continues to be a fundamental part of Tami's life. She volunteers with 4-H, leading a group of children with rabbit projects, and has participated in numerous mission trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. In her free time, Tami loves hiking, boating, pickleball, attending various concerts with her teens, playing the piano, and reading historical fiction. She also loves her women’s Bible study group, church community, and her Bunco group.
